But the biggest shock came when they learned a provincially mandated investigation could cost $319,000. Experts say the remains must be protected and treated with dignity — but that the current law should be updated so situations like this don't happen.
Environment Canada says high-sided vehicles could be pushed around by the wind, and there could be damage to roofs, fences, tress and soft shelters.
