Mayor Watson attends Hockey Day in Ward 9 (Nepean) Shinny Hockey Tournament

February 9, 2013

I made this comment after issuing a press release for the Knoxdale-Merivale Council of Community Associations (KMC) about the 3rd Annual Hockey Day in Ward 9 Shinny Hockey tournament which I organize on their behalf.

It was nice the Mayor could fit us in to his busy schedule yesterday. By all accounts, the General Burns Cup was a big success as was the rest of the Hockey Day in Ward 9 tournament.

Parkmount Power from Trend-Arlington successfully defended their title yesterday in a exciting, down to the wire championship game, 5-4 over the Blades of Glory, also from Trend-Arlington. Here are some preliminary photos from the tournament: http://bit.ly/12Dyco6.
