Fisherman describes ‘frantic run’ as ice shelf breaks from Georgian Bay shore

A group of fishermen fishing off the Georgian Bay shore tried to escape as an ice shelf broke off, but 23 were left stranded and had to be rescued.

A motion passed at Ottawa city council earlier this week to extend a winter parking ban year-round near the South Nepean Muslim Community mosque. As CBC's Liam Baker reports, worshippers say their parking options are already limited.
