A school bus driver who struck and killed a 22-year-old pedestrian in a Toronto crosswalk has been sentenced to 60 days in jail and a two-year driving suspension.

The college student was walking with a friend on the river in the l'Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève borough when the ice gave way beneath their feet., police said.
