Ottawa Now - Should taxes be scrapped on all Ontario foods?

The Manitoba government is planning to scrap the PST on all groceries, as announced earlier today by Premier Wab Kinew. Here in Ontario, it's a bit of a different story. Most basic groceries – fruits, vegetables, and canned beans – are already exempt from Ontario’s provincial HST. Prepared foods – snacks, beverages, and single-serve items – are taxed. So that would be anything from bags of chips and chocolate bars, to pre-made salads and rotisserie chickens. Should Ontario follow Manitoba's lead? What about the feds? Mike Von Massow is a Food Economist with the University of Guelph. He joins Kristy Cameron on today's Ottawa Now.
Police have alleged that Law ran several websites that were used to sell sodium nitrite and other items that can be used for self-harm.
