City Manager to introduce new General Manager of Transit Services

City Manager Wendy Stephanson will be joined by Mayor Sutcliffe and Chair Gower to introduce the new General Manager of Transit Services for the City of Ottawa. Following the announcement, the City will hold an in-person media availability. Mayor Sutcliffe, Chair Gower, the City Manager and new General Manager Rick Leary will be available to answer questions.

The Ottawa Police Service has officially migrated to Next Generation 9-1-1.
Next Generation 9-1-1, also known as NG9-1-1, is a behind-the-scenes upgrade to the core infrastructure of Canada’s 9-1-1 network. NG9-1-1 replaces the current, aging analog infrastructure with a modern digital platform that is more reliable, secure and better able to support enhanced location and data in the future.
