Oxford Frozen Foods fined $10K for mislabelling blueberries as Canadian

Nova Scotia-based Oxford Frozen Foods has been fined $10,000 for mislabelling its blueberries as Canadian at a time when more consumers are looking to buy local in grocery stores.
Quebec coroner Stéphanie Gamache will lead a public inquiry into the deaths of five unhoused people, which took place over the past seven months in Montreal. The city’s mayor, who was in tears in late March while announcing the deaths of two people experiencing homelessness, says the final report will include recommendations for authorities aimed at preventing such occurrences.
