Finding a place to live isn’t easy, and a lot of people can relate to the struggle of scouring online marketplaces to find an acceptable rental space. What makes it borderline unbearable for students is the high cost of living, online marketplace scams, and a full school workload. Oh, and you might be stuck with an unpleasant roommate. Aidan Fitzmaurice, a UOttawa student and the founder of Next Room Incorporated, is on a mission to change that. He joins Kristy Cameron in Hour 2. Meantime, if you’ve taken the O-Train recently, you might be noticing the shorthanded fleet of train cars. But another thing you might have noticed is that the LRT washrooms are closed. OTTAWA — Canada’s ambassador to the United States, Mark Wiseman, will testify before a House of Commons committee next Thursday, in his first address to parliamentarians since taking up the job in mid-February.
