Ottawa Now - New poll says strong majority of Canadians are calling for a U-16 social media ban
March 30, 2026

It was a landmark ban that sparked an important global discussion about the impact of these platforms, and how they can harm the mental health and safety of young people. One example was a recent landmark court case in California, where Meta and YouTube were both found liable in a social media addiction trial.
