A convicted killer who escaped custody and murdered a 25-year-old Halifax woman in 1988 has died in a New Brunswick prison, CSC says.

Ontario Provincial Police have identified 34-year-old Christo Allison Richards from Ottawa as the man found fatally injured in Perth's Last Duel Park earlier this month. They did not announce any suspects or arrests.
