Ottawa Now - Outlining the potential drawbacks of a rural transit alternative

Ottawa’s Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee has unanimously approved a motion that would explore options to allow private bus services to supplement transit options. Rideau-Jock councillor David Brown is calling on City Staff to explore the feasibility of this plan, and connect residents in rural villages to OC Transpo Park-and-Rides and other major hubs. At least 17 earthquakes have been recorded near Area 51, in Nevada, over the past two days, drawing attention online and speculation around nuclear testing. But Dr. Robert Shcherbakov , associate professor at the Department of Earth Sciences, Western University, says there’s a perfectly ordinary scientific explanation for the activity.
