Resolution reached on messy dressing room dispute, Soo Jr. Greyhounds to compete for league title

The Northern Ontario Hockey Association will allow the U18 Soo Jr. Greyhounds to compete in a championship game on Sunday in Sudbury against the Copper Cliff Reds. There were initially told they had to forfeit a game after leaving behind an allegedly messy dressing room.

A Nova Scotia man sentenced to seven years in prison for molesting a little girl who once called him “Dad” has won his freedom and a new trial because the original trial judge’s reasons were found to be factually and legally deficient.
