Hour 3 of Ottawa Now for Wed. April 15th, 2026

April 15, 2026

A recent report from Ottawa’s Public Works and Infrastructure Committee says the removal of these cameras has decreased speed compliance and increased high-end speeding. This was highlighted by Tuesday’s midday collision on Heron Road, as a car flipped onto its roof just outside of an elementary school. Has the new signage worked? Meantime, a Waterloo-based company has claimed the AquaLunar Challenge Trophy. It’s a national competition that aims to convert lunar ice into drinkable water. In Hour 3, we go 1-on-1 with Daniel Sax, the CEO of the Canadian Strategic Missions Corporation.
