Alberta government to revisit election ridings map

Alberta's governing United Conservatives are looking to take another run at redrawing provincial riding boundaries, setting aside a previous commission’s report and striking a new committee of MLAs to oversee a panel tasked with adding more ridings. It’s a move the Alberta Opposition NDP calls a cynical backdoor scheme to rig the October, 2027 general election.
Although parts of Saskatchewan are supposed to get snow this May long weekend, campers are still setting up trailers to enjoy their weekend.
