OC Transpo spring service begins Sunday, April 19

April 17, 2026

OC Transpo’s spring service begins Sunday, April 19. This spring’s service includes bus service adjustments, seasonal schedule changes, and adjustments for construction.

New spring schedules are available on octranspo.com. Before heading out, use the Travel Planner or Transit app to plan your trip.

Bus service adjustments

  • On Route 47, two new trips will run seven days a week to accommodate major shift times at Amazon facilities on Sheffield Road and Ages Drive. These trips will start at approximately 12:50 am from St-Laurent Station and 11:55 am from Russell Road.
  • As part of the regular review of schedules to improve on-time performance and service reliability, weekday schedule adjustments will be made to Routes 12, 15, 30, 53, 81, 82, and 168.
  • Adjustments to some school service will be made based on observed ridership levels and in consultation with the school boards and their student transportation authorities.

Seasonal schedule changes

  • Routes 7, 25, 75, and 88 will be less frequent during certain time periods on weekdays due to lower seasonal ridership levels as the winter term ends at post-secondary institutions.

Service adjustments for construction

As a result of road reconstruction and other infrastructure projects, some routes may experience delays, detours, and additional travel time this spring.

  • Routes 7, 10, 48 and 111 will be detoured for watermain replacement at Carleton University along Campus Avenue. This detour is expected to begin in the spring and continue through the summer.
  • Routes 11, 57, 81, and 691 will be detoured when exiting Bayshore Station, via Holly Acres and Richmond roads, to accommodate construction. This is expected to continue for a two-month period.
  • Route 87 is detoured along Churchill Avenue and Richmond Road while a segment of Woodroffe Avenue is closed for revitalization work. This detour is expected to continue until the fall.

Up-to-date information about detours and stop impacts can be found on OC Transpo’s alerts page.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — In this tourist town, only one grave site gets five stars on Google. It belongs to Leslie Nielsen, and 16 years after his death it has become an affectionate shrine to the deadpan funnyman. The Saskatchewan-born actor, who would have been 100 this year, is buried in Fort Lauderdale’s Evergreen Cemetery. A modest stone marks his final resting place, inscribed with his name, his dates of birth and death, and a fart joke. “Let ‘er rip,” it says, giving life after death to his favourite running gag. Piled onto the stone by fans on pilgrimage are multiple...
