Edmonton city councillor Mike Elliott is open to revisiting the conversation of adding fare gates at some LRT stations, saying it could help with safety concerns and boost revenue.

"I'm going to get shot for saying this, but I think the hospital itself, it's a huge project," an advisor on the project told city councillors on Thursday. "But I'm imagining 2033-34," he said about its completion.
