In Toronto’s underground subway system, musicians like Leo Zhang and Benji Crane can often be found busking amid commuter chaos. They’re among the dozens of musicians who perform across 29 subway stations in a program dating back more than 45 years, and they say they do it in the hopes of brightening someone’s day.
