Ottawa’s tourism organizations want to see high-speed rail bring passengers to a station in the city’s Downtown Core, arguing that it ‘deserves to arrive in the heart of Ottawa’. The Crown corporation Alto has been tasked with building high-speed rail between Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City. Public consultations for Phase 1 of the project wrapped up on Saturday.
