A report says that a formal offer has been submitted to relocate the Vancouver Whitecaps, the city's Major League Soccer team, to Las Vegas. The report, in The Athletic, cited multiple sources with knowledge of the situation as well as a statement from billionaire Grant Gustavson.

Two men had made it to the shore, police said, but three others remained missing. Police said the men were clam fishing in the area.
