Carney heads to Armenia for political summit

Prime Minister Mark Carney is headed to Armenia, in a visit his office has framed as focused on drumming up more trade and investment with European countries, along with defending Ukraine. Carney was invited to attend the European Political Community Leaders’ Summit by European Council President Antonio Costa, and Canada is the first non-European country to attend this event.
Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce CEO Jason Aebig says the city needs to act more urgently on its plans to avoid unnecessary costs and delays, as two major projects stall.
