The financial strain has been especially prevalent in the early stages of 2026, as these aforementioned factors continue to erode profitability margins. In Dave’s case, his business hasn’t seen a drop in earnings, but they’ve been feeling the pressure of today’s economic uncertainties, ranging from higher gas prices to rising minimum wages.
