As of right now, 3 candidates are running for Mayor of Ottawa, a list that doesn’t officially include Mayor Mark Sutcliffe. However, Sutcliffe is expected to run again this year. Today, we speak to one of the frontrunners who is trying to usurp the present-day Mayor, and he is a present-day Ottawa city councillor. Kristy Cameron goes 1-on-1 with Jeff Leiper in Hour 2. Sticking with municipal matters, we are talking public transit once again. We don’t have any LRT updates, or any new LRT problems to deal with. Today’s discussion is centered around the idea of OC Transpo riders being compensated for poor service. Reasonable ask, or a massive pipe dream?
