Five years after Quebec law, 129 Indigenous families still need answers on missing children

According to a recent government report, 129 Indigenous families have started the process of searching for 221 missing children since the law, known as Bill 79, came into effect.

If the injunction is granted, the province would have the legal authority to evict the roughly two dozen people living at the encampment and clear the site.
