Five years after Quebec law, 129 Indigenous families still need answers on missing children

According to a recent government report, 129 Indigenous families have started the process of searching for 221 missing children since the law, known as Bill 79, came into effect.

The New York State Education Department released a report in early May, following an investigation into the use of time out boxes in classrooms at St. Regis Mohawk School in Akwesasne Mohawk Territory and the three other schools in the district.
