Health Canada has advised consumers to 'immediately stop using the affected products and dispose of them in such a way that they cannot be used again.'

The clearing last week of an encampment in an area south of Ottawa's Bayview LRT station is being flagged as a worrying symptom of the city's homelessness crisis. The recovery of a large number of needles at the site also has one advocate pointing to the closing of local safe consumption sites as a failure to provide people the right supports.
