Auditor general flags problems with commercial trucker training and licensing in Ontario

Ontario is not effectively monitoring commercial truck driver training and licensing regimes, leading to many unqualified drivers on the roads, the province's auditor general found in a special report released Tuesday.
Ottawa police say the woman struck by a vehicle in Barrhaven last week has died. They are appealing to anyone who saw the collision or may have dashcam footage of the incident to contact authorities.
