Educational assistant shortages impacting support for special needs students, auditor general finds

The number of Ontario students with special education needs is growing faster than overall enrolment, and some schools do not have enough educational assistants either full-time or on a daily basis, the province's auditor general has found.
The shipment is going to the remote hamlet of Ulukhaktok, on Victoria Island in the Northwest Territories.

In a video address to Albertans on Thursday, May 22, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith announced that her government will present its own referendum question to voters — one that copies neither of the questions presented in a pair of petitions that gathered more than 700,000 signatures in recent months.
