Although the number of investigations and value of ineligible payments has increased significantly, it remains a relatively small portion of the funds issued to students.
According to the Ottawa Paramedic Service's annual report for 2025, the service missed city council's response time target for the most severe emergencies. The service did hit its goals for less important calls.
