The head of the union representing Ottawa's transit operators is warning about workplace pressures after service on Lines 1 and 4 was interrupted on Saturday due to staffing issues.
Ottawa's Odawa Native Friendship Centre has launched an outreach initiative to help vulnerable people in Vanier and the ByWard Market. It's modelled after Winnipeg's successful and long-standing Bear Clan Patrol.
