Hour 1 of Ottawa Now for Fri. May 22nd, 2026

May 22, 2026

If you commute to Ottawa’s West End, you know that traffic disruptions have been very busy lately. Whether it be during the rush hour, or any hour of the day, or any hour during the weekend. It’s been a lot for added stress for Ottawa drivers to navigate, particularly between the Woodroffe and Pinecrest interchanges. He is the President of the Kanata Beaverbrook Community Association. Speaking of Ottawa’s LRT, questions continue to swirl surrounding the Victoria Day Weekend shutdown, and what exactly caused it. CFRA’s Andrew Pinsent has more on that. But first, we bring you up to speed on today’s top headlines.
