Quebec Premier Christine Fréchette is expected to announce three new measures Monday — surpassing by around $80 million the budget initially set aside for François Legault's successor, a spokesperson for the finance minister's office told Radio-Canada.

OTTAWA — Former environment minister Steven Guilbeault will resign as a Liberal MP. He will make the announcement to his colleagues Wednesday morning in caucus and will give a speech in the House of Commons later in the afternoon to explain his reasons.
