Bus detaches from tow truck, rolls into side of grocery store

A double-decker OC Transpo bus that was being towed near the transit agency's maintenance facility on Belfast Road broke lose and rolled into the side of a grocery story early Tuesday afternoon. No injuries were reported.

According to the Ottawa Paramedic Service's annual report for 2025, the service missed city council's response time target for the most severe emergencies. The service did hit its goals for less important calls.
