Toronto police chief to speak with solicitor general on Ontario's police suspension laws

Toronto police Chief Myron Demkiw says he is planning to speak with Ontario's solicitor general about the restrictions chiefs face when deciding whether to suspend officers with or without pay.
Michael Clairoux, 52, had served just over one year of a life sentence when he died Friday at Millhaven Institution. Correctional Service Canada did not disclose the circumstances of his death.
