Upset Uber customers charged for monthly memberships they say they never signed up for

Uber customers in Canada and the U.S. told CBC News they were signed up for an Uber One membership without their knowledge, and only caught the problem when they noticed an odd Uber charge — or string of recurring charges — on their credit card. Uber, however, says it doesn't enroll people in its monthly membership program without their consent.
Some politicians say the number of days spent in the legislature doesn't matter too much, because the most important work is done in their constituency offices. Others say less time in legislatures allows provincial and territorial governments to avoid accountability and pass flawed legislation.
