DND sets up overflow lot to deal with employee parking crunch

The Department of National Defence (DND) has set up overflow parking several kilometres away from its west Ottawa headquarters as it tries to improve a potentially worsening parking squeeze for employees.

A police spokesperson told Global News the move was to deal with safety concerns like 'large crowds gathering around team vehicles.'
