Winnipeg police say a man took three teens hostage inside a St. James home on Friday, leading to an 'exchange of gunfire' as officials tried to arrest him.

The MRC des Collines de l'Outaouais police service is asking some residents to remain home on Sunday after several roads were closed due to flooding in the Saint-Pierre-de Wakefield area of Val-des-Monts, Que., including a section of Route 307.
