Family 'devastated' by loss of Sheshatshiu, N.L., woman allegedly killed by partner

Beatrice Penashue has been identified as the woman who was killed in Sheshatshiu this week, in an alleged murder by her partner.

Michael Clairoux, 52, had served just over one year of a life sentence when he died Friday at Millhaven Institution. Correctional Service Canada did not disclose the circumstances of his death.
