Late spring start, dry conditions to blame for intense Edmonton allergy season

An Edmonton abourist says drought conditions coupled with a later start to spring have put added stress on trees and shrubs, causing them to produce more pollen than usual.
The report says obstacles include unstable access to affordable fibre, excessive regulations, persistent underinvestment in manufacturing, weak capacity to innovate, and inadequate domestic demand for wood-based products.
