Hammonds Plains residents call for halt to new development over wildfire concerns

Three years after a wildfire destroyed more than 150 homes outside Halifax, a community group is calling for a moratorium on new developments in the area due to safety concerns.

PWHL Hamilton has signed forward Emily Clark to a two-year contract, the expansion franchise announced Sunday. Clark, who was under contract with Ottawa through 2027-28, joins PWHL Hamilton on a new deal through the same period.
