Toronto police seize knock-off soccer merch ahead of World Cup

Toronto police announced Monday they've arrested two people and seized more than 16,000 counterfeit soccer merchandise items ahead of the World Cup. David Lipkus, a lawyer specializing in brand protection at Lipkus Law, said consumers should remain vigilant, only buy from trusted sellers and report suspected fraud.
A 39-year-old man was killed in a shooting Friday in Dartmouth, N.S. Police are investigating the incident as a homicide and say they do not believe it was a random event.
