N.S. to create centralized daycare waitlist to streamline search for child care

A long-awaited centralized daycare waitlist will make it easier for families to find suitable child care in Nova Scotia, officials with the Education Department said Wednesday. The province is in the early stages of building a new online portal set to launch in 2027.
