Some Halifax-area residents are fighting a proposed stargazing park in their neighbourhood, saying the project would ruin their quiet way of life. But the development’s owner says its scale is being exaggerated.

The MRC des Collines de l'Outaouais police service is asking some residents to remain home on Sunday after several roads were closed due to flooding in the Saint-Pierre-de Wakefield area of Val-des-Monts, Que., including a section of Route 307.
