Parents at one Ottawa school were shocked to learn about the elevated levels of lead in that school's water supply. And now, they are demanding answers from the Ministry of Education, questioning why the province is still allowing double the level recommended by Health Canada. OTTAWA — Alberta’s proposal for building a new million-barrel-a-day pipeline to the West Coast will be unveiled on Thursday, a spokesman for the premier confirmed.
