First Nation leaders and health-care providers in northwestern Ontario are demanding the federal government make urgent changes to the federal Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program. Those who use the program say people are missing their appointments because travel isn’t being arranged in time or it’s being communicated at the last minute. Here's what they want to see done differently.

The Bank of Canada is holding $1.6 billion worth of unclaimed accounts, B.C. has another $222 million, there’s $168 million in Alberta, $515 million in Quebec and $47.2 million in New Brunswick.
