CRA taking up to 47 weeks to process some tax return changes, watchdog says

Taxpayers who filed requests to make changes to their income tax returns may be waiting up to 47 weeks for those changes to be processed by the CRA, an official watchdog says.

AC7664 was enroute from Newark to Halifax on Wednesday afternoon. The captain experienced a medical issue during the flight and it was diverted to Boston. Air Canada says it is working to help its 61 customers who were on the plane make new travel arrangements.
