Halifax tenant says building was partly demolished while she waited for tenancy ruling

A Halifax woman says she has no place to live after returning home from work last week to find crews demolishing her apartment building.
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is shifting its explanation for why it isn’t marching in this summer’s Capital Pride parade, saying two years of "political activism and unplanned disruptions" have triggered worries about student safety. Parade organizers say the event will be safe and secure.
