The Ottawa Police Service has a sexual misconduct problem – and their Chief of Police knows it. Last month, Eric Stubbs issued a very blunt 7-minute video to his officers. In this message that was obtained by CTV Ottawa, he called out a pattern of inappropriate behaviour, and basically told his members that they need to change their behaviour or turn in their badge. Turning our attention to Ottawa’s recycling, a new company has taken over collection duties, dating all the way back to January 1st of this year. Miller Waste Systems – under contract to Circular Materials – is now in charge. The switch-over meant that residents could put more in their blue boxes. But as we’ve since discovered, a case of pickup confusion has flared up. We dig deeper with West Carleton-March councillor Clarke Kelly.
