Yellowknife hockey players say changes to team structure for girls are offside

The Yellowknife Minor Hockey Association plans an overhaul to its structure, getting rid of female-only development teams, an option for more elite players, in favour of what it's calling a travel team model.

Using money from the Mosaic Stadium reserve, the plan is to spend around $8 million to replace the field turf and video display boards.
