Beaches – opening June 20

Supervised swimming begins at the City’s beaches, Mooney’s Bay, Britannia, Westboro and Petrie Island, on Saturday, June 20.

  • Lifeguards are on duty daily from noon to 7 pm until August 30.
  • Beach-accessible wheelchairs and lifejackets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Non-motorized watercraft can be launched outside the swimming area at each of the four beaches. See maps of the locations at our Docks and boat launches page.
