National Microbiology Lab seeks new leader again

Canada’s only Biosafety Level 4 lab is looking for new leadership once again. In a Saturday interview, Jason Kindrachuk confirmed he is stepping down as vice-president of the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg on June 28.
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is shifting its explanation for why it isn’t marching in this summer’s Capital Pride parade, saying two years of "political activism and unplanned disruptions" have triggered worries about student safety. Parade organizers say the event will be safe and secure.
